Wish u were here ! - Triptych shortened version -

Wish u were here ! is my last installation project, its a video collage of contextualised shots, extracted from tv shows. The overall is presented as 3 differents “video postcards”, diffused on tv posts confronting each others. Each lasts exactly 8′10”.

This project is about witnessing the confrontation  of idealized representations through sound and image of 3 iconic american cities ( NY, Las Vegas and Miami), emphasizing the representation of a context, until this one becomes unreal.

Plutonia Ultra Violence - shortened clip -

doom-entrypage.gifInstallation of an epic 47 mins video.

Plutonia Ultra Violence is an hommage to the game Doom, through the projection of an entire pre-played game stage slowed down to the extreme. Images and pixels are melted into each other by the use of an image corrupting method, giving the overall video an unreal texture.

Projected in HD and entirely surrounded by a wall of speakers spitting the sound, the experience of the video game is becoming for once physical, long, intense, saturated and totally out of control.

Windows on Another World: Peepholes

Windows on another world is series of 4 videos, fruits of a work on home-based fetishism practice and diffused through online social medias platforms like youtube.

This work is made to be a muted video installation, containing 4 differents videos.

Each incarnate one window, opening on the intimacy of a house where thoses extra-ordinary anonymous acts are taking place.

Confronted, Satire and voyeur reflects each others throughout this intangible mirror.

This is the first window.

60 second human being: chr.01

gatc.png

Clip edited out of a research about human temporality.

This project is an attempt of representing and dematerialising the human being, under a limited time. In this short, the first chromosome of the human genome is represented under the code GATC ( abbreviation of the nucleotides that forms DNA ) and shown in 60 seconds.

The final piece is presented as a video regrouping the entire 23 chromosomes restrained to a limited time. The intensity of the data flowing along the screen is becoming abstract, we’re loosing our marks in time .

To emphasise the notion of data overload, the video piece is associated with a printer copying in real time all the human genome ( more than 2000 pages ), leaving the sheets accumulating on the ground.
